Gwinnett County now offers Pickleball Group Lessons for seniors (age 18+) at its George Pierce Park facility (55 Buford Hwy., Suwanee)

Consecutive four-week clinics provide instruction for beginner level players, taught by Certified Pickleball Instructor Wally Putnam.

Pickleball 101, Introduction to the Game (Ages 18+)

A structured, fun class to learn basic strokes, rules, and scoring through demonstrations, drills, and practice.  Learn key fundamentals and develop basic skills so you’re ready to participate in the sport.  Please wear tennis shoes or court shoes.  Paddles and balls are provided. (Little or no prior experience is required.)

$80 residents, $90 non-residents

Pickleball 102, Skills Development (Ages 18+)

This skills and drills class is for players who have completed Pickleball 101 or for players who have the experience of playing games of pickleball at open play sessions.  The format for the clinic will be drills, game play and skills development. * The Pickleball Clinics are taught by a Certified Pickleball Instructor (IPTPA Certified).

$80 residents, $90 non-residents
